About the event
This outdoor walking group is open to all OSA members who want to try different outdoor recreation activities while exploring nature and watching wildlife. Your host will be Gary Haerle.
This month's activity is snowshoeing. OSA has access to a few pairs of snowshoes, if you need them.
Please contact OSA at info@oakridgeseniors.ca or 403-801-7254 to see if there are any available.
The program will run as long as the temperature is -10°C and above.
The meeting location will be in your confirmation email and your reminder email.
Participants must:
- provide their COVID-19 double vaccination QR code or proof of a recent 72-hour negative test.
- have a high level of mobility with no need of devices such as a walker.
- be able to climb hillls, and confidently navigate uneven terain.
- wear clothing and footwear appropriate to the weather and safety conditions.
COVID-19 precautions will be implemented per Alberta's Chief Medical Officer's recommendations:
- Wearing a mask is mandatory when not eating or drinking.
- Please do not attend if you have a fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, or shortness of breath or you are a close contact of a person who tested positive for COVID-19
