About the event
Join OSA friends and tech advisors to bring us your technical questions every Monday. Drop in whenever you like to tune into what people are talking about that day. This is the last session for Spring! There will be no Tech Talks in Summer, but join us again for our Fall Calender starting in September.
This week's topic: Join guest speaker Ann Rebutoc to discuss online Privacy. She will cover questions such as:
- What personal information are we concerned with protecting?
- From who? What are organizations using it for? We're going to take a quick history trip to learn about the commodification of our personal information.
- Should we care that our personal information is being scooped up? Do the benefits outweigh the risks?
- Some specific, practical tips.
