About the event
- The University of Calgary is looking for volunteers, 65 years or older, in pairs (partners/significant others/friends) to take part in a research study involving usability test and development of a novel software to support physical competence, confidence and mobility amongst older adults. The first phase of the project will take place November 13, 10 a.m. - 12 noon.
You will be asked to contribute with your experiences about what support you may need to improve or maintain balance and mobility in your everyday life. In repeated workshops you will be interviewed, answer questionnaires and use tools together with your partner/significant others/friend with the aim to analyze and improve your movements in daily living.
Estimated time for participating: Max 4 workshops, 3-4 hours each. Due to Covid-19 restrictions the workshops will be accomplished virtually.
Your contribution is important in developing the future’s digital support for active and healthy aging.
