About the event

Weaselhead Society's Annual Volunteer Picnic September 7 at 10:30 a.m.

You are cordially invited to attend the Weaselhead/Glenmore Park Preservation Society's 23rd Annual Volunteer Appreciation Picnic on Labour Day Monday, September 7th, 10:30 a.m. at the Snowy Owl Picnic Site and shelter in North Glenmore Park.

This year's event is extra-special because we will be hosting a ceremony commemorating the 'Barry Erskine Bridge' (formerly known as the 'green bridge crossing the Elbow') at approximately 11 a.m. followed by a delicious Szechuan lunch shortly after noon, and yes, it's all free.

This is our opportunity to thank anyone and everyone who has helped out with our organization in any way, no matter how big or small over the past few years. Individual plating and cutlery will be provided, but feel free to bring your own utensils. You may also bring your own lunch if that's your preference. Cold beverages will be provided and Covid guidelines will be followed.

YOU MUST RSVP to pastpresident@theweaselhead.com to attend, and when doing so, please indicate if you'll be bringing other volunteers with you, and also let us know if you prefer a beef, chicken, or vegetarian meal.

We look forward to hearing from you and hopefully seeing you there at 10:30 a.m. on Labour Day.

On behalf of the WGPPS Board of Directors,

Paul Finkleman
