September 23, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Virtual tour of the Tsuut’ina Taza Development: Bryce Starlight, VP, Candarel MDC Development Management, will present details of the exciting Taza Development coming to our doorstep. He will cover issues of 90th Avenue traffic and a host of other opportunities for Oakridge and surrounding communities.
October 3, 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. Circles of Rhythm Drum Circle: Re-vitalize, relax and reconnect with our community. We invite everyone in Oakridge to a drum circle in the new community garden. Everyone can drum! Drums and percussion provided. Bring your own chair. Cost: $10 individuals, $20 family. In collaboration with Oakridge Community Garden and Oakridge Community Association.
October 7, 6:45 - 7:45 p.m. Chat with MLA Whitney Issik: An open discussion on how to better serve Oakridge community, not just seniors. How the two associations (Oakridge Seniors and Oakridge Community) can form enhanced relationships to deliver programs to a wider audience.

September 28, 7 p.m. Oakridge Community Association AGM – (OCA members only): OCA seeks new board members. It would be great to have more seniors represented there. Wednesday Walkers at 10:00 a.m. Starting September 23: Not a pole walking class but a friendly group of OSA members who want to walk for an hour or so regularly. Thanks to Debra Sharpe for co-ordinating this group which will split into smaller groups when necessary.
Mondays at 1:00 p.m. TeleChat with Samantha: Want to connect with your neighbours? Longing for the days of a simple telephone call? Let’s chat! Our manager, Samantha, will be facilitating weekly group telephone calls for discussion on a variety of topics selected by the group.
