Samantha Norberg joined us May 25 as a part-time OSA Administrator. Samantha’s role is to develop our growing programs and volunteers. A recent Masters of Social Work (Gerontology) graduate from the University of Toronto, she has community, clinical, and research experience working with older adults. She is passionate about supporting seniors to safely remain and thrive in their communities. Samantha is thrilled to return to Calgary and join our vision for the Village Hub!

Want to improve your exercise routine? Pole Walking is easy to learn - burns more calories than regular walking - helps off-load weight from hips and knees (walk further) - adds a workout to your arms, shoulders and core - and offers many other benefits!
Sign up for this small group session to learn proper techniques with Sharon, a certified instructor! Learn how to use intervals to increase intensity, how to navigate hills, and use poles as part of your strengthening, stretching and balance routines!

With COVID-19 restrictions we have been putting many face to face events on hold. However, we still encourage you to retain your membership so (a) we can keep you up to date and (b) you can participate in full with all the virtual and in person activities we currently offer and plan to offer in future.
